My bankruptcy has been discharged , but my mortgage co keep sending me letters of foreclosure they
want me to short sale or deaed in lue . why

Additional Details:
I have the deed , and the court is suppose to have a short sale .. can they foreclose without this
is there any money involved on my part if they do

When you received your discharge, it was just your obligation to repay the mortgage note. The debt was not discharged. It was just your responsibility to pay the debt that was discharge. The mortgage note is still an encumbrance against the real estate.
