Can I file a motion in BK Court to object? Can I get access to the person's list of assets and
debts to find possible fraud?

Additional Details:
I had my attorney file a complaint with the court against my ex business partner. I was in legal
battle for almost five years. Finally I had enough evidence to take him to the court and get a
judgment against him; So we finally we got our day at the court, however we settled before the court
and with the help of the judge. I got, Stipulated judgment for amount of settlement plus fees, and
a settlement agreement discussing terms. Court did not make any factual findings. Now he has filed
for bankruptcy. And I like to know if I have any chance of stopping his bankruptcy for going through
or at least take my name out of his BK list. The guy is a cheater and should not get away with just
filing bankuptcy...Thanks...

You can contact the clerk's office of the bankruptcy court and review the schedules. Schedules A & B will show his assets and Schedules D, E and F will show his creditors. A successful Chapter 7 that discharges his debts will also discharged his debt to you. In Florida if you record a certified copy of a judgment in the public records the judgment will attach, as a lien, to all of a judgment debtor's real property which may cause him some problems.
